Troubleshooting
Most dead eSIMs in Japan are one settings switch from working, whoever sold them. Five minutes, in order, no skipping.
Airplane mode on, count ten, off. Travel line ON and set as the data line. Data Roaming ON for that line only. Restart once. That sequence revives most dead eSIMs at Narita, Haneda and Kansai every day; the airport rescue card is its printable twin.
Travel eSIMs connect as roaming lines by design, and it does not bill your home carrier. Roaming off is the single most common cause of no signal in Japan, whatever brand is on the receipt.
A QR code installs exactly once. If the profile was deleted, rescanning will not fix it; only the seller's replacement will. Stop toggling and contact support with your order number. On our plans a faulty eSIM is replaced one for one.
iPhones almost never need APN typing. Android with bars but no data: message support for the right APN settings. Samsung hides eSIM controls under Connections, SIM manager.
Unlocked, eSIM-capable phone and the list changed nothing: ask the seller for a replacement, with your order number, phone model and a settings screenshot. Bought from us: the chat bubble or [email protected], and a human answers.
Usually the travel line is not set as the data line, or Data Roaming is off for it. Fix both, toggle airplane mode for ten seconds, and most no-service cases end there.
Yes, for the travel eSIM line specifically. It connects as a roaming line by design and this does not create charges from your home carrier.
No. A QR code installs once. Ask the seller for a replacement profile with your order number; on our plans a faulty or lost profile is handled by support directly.
